AI workshop for garages and car dealerships

Prepare an automotive AI workshop: service enquiries, test-drive requests, controlled reply drafts and a concrete test plan. Agree scope and fee before starting.

Who is the workshop for?

Workshop managers, service desks and salespeople face different questions. A joint session works best around one handover, such as a website enquiry reaching the service desk or a test-drive request reaching a salesperson. This is separately scoped advisory work, not a fixed course with an already confirmed date or a software activation.

Prepare five fictional customer enquiries

Choose a routine service enquiry, a question about a particular car, a test-drive request, an incomplete message and a complaint. Use fictional names and vehicle references. Bring the approved service description or listing used as the source. Number plates, customer records, credit information and credentials are not needed for the first exercise.

Three exercises with checkable outputs

Exercise 1: The service enquiry. Mark what the customer needs, what is missing and who should clarify it. Draft a reply without diagnosing the vehicle or promising a price. Check against the approved workshop handover.

Exercise 2: The vehicle listing. Compare a reply draft with a fictional approved listing. Remove unsupported equipment, financing or warranty claims. Include a car no longer in stock. Check for correct source facts and clearly unknown fields.

Exercise 3: The next action. Hand a test-drive request to its salesperson and define how the customer receives confirmation. A preferred time must not appear as a reservation. Check for an owner, contact route and an explicit confirmation step.

Fictional example: a test-drive request for a sold car

Someone requests a Friday test drive. The approved source says the car is sold. An unsuitable response promises Friday at 2 pm. A useful reply explains the known status and offers contact with a salesperson about an alternative without inventing available stock. If status cannot be checked, the salesperson must clarify it first.

What should the exercises produce?

Agree a concrete deliverable: one mapped workflow, approved sources, reply drafts, exceptions and an owner for the next test. Record corrections and review effort alongside correct handovers. A certificate, presentation or a large prompt collection does not by itself establish a working workflow.

What is excluded and how is pricing agreed?

Fault diagnosis, road safety, binding quotations, credit assessments and legal warranty questions are not automated workshop decisions. DMS, CRM, stock and calendar integrations are excluded unless separately agreed. The exercises do not send customer messages. A separate quote confirms participants, format, duration, deliverables, price, tax basis and change terms before acceptance.

Talk, workshop or implementation?

An automotive AI talk can introduce the topic without practising your process. A workshop lets relevant staff work through an agreed example and check the result. Implementation configures a bounded solution and needs separate access, testing and operating arrangements. Choose the format around what the team should be able to do afterwards.

Should mechanics attend? Involve whoever receives the output, perhaps a workshop manager and service desk colleague. Do we need a new system? Not necessarily: a checked template or better manual handover can be the right first result. How long does it take? Scope and duration are confirmed in the quote; this page does not reserve a date.

Request a scoped workshop proposal

Describe one task where customers or colleagues wait. Identify the roles and use a fictional example. An initial enquiry does not accept a paid engagement. Agree the scope before a workshop or development starts.

Compare the current scope before requesting setup. An educational guide does not activate a product or accept a paid engagement.
